We are delighted to welcome you as our guest. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we would like to provide you with some key information about your holiday with us.
Arrival and departure
You may check into your room from 3.00 pm. On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 11.00 am.
Arriving on our closing days or during our annual holidays
Please note that we are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Arrivals are only possible by prior arrangement. Please do not disturb or ring the doorbell at our neighbours’ homes. We ask you to respect their privacy. You will find our telephone number displayed on all our entrance doors; we are available almost at any time.
Travelling by car or public transport
From Bern: 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by train
From Thun: 50 minutes by car or 70 minutes by train
From Lucerne: 70 minutes by car or 90 minutes by train
Take the Kirchberg motorway exit and drive through the Emmental towards Langnau until you reach Ranflüh. We are easily accessible by public transport from Langnau or Ramsei.
Allergy sufferers/vegetarians/vegans
Please let us know in advance if you have specific dietary requirements.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards. We would be grateful if you could settle the bill the evening before, during dinner. If you have a voucher, please let us know when you make your booking and hand it to us on arrival.
Bike rental
Would you like to go on a bike ride?! We can arrange e-bike hire through our specialist in the village.
Third-party vouchers
Dear guests, please note that vouchers issued directly by us do not include the same dinner as those from third-party providers. We would be grateful if you could inform us of any allergies or similar requirements before your arrival. Changes can only be accommodated in advance for an additional charge.
Hotel entrance
Please report directly to us at the restaurant/reception to check in. You can only access the hotel wing with your room key.
Massage
Our masseuse from the neighbouring village comes to our hotel. Why not treat yourself to a massage for a relaxing and restful stay? Please book this when you make your reservation. Bookings cannot be made on site. Alternatively, treat yourself to some time out with our organic beautician in Zollbrück.
Parking
Please ensure you do not park in the wrong place. We have plenty of on-site parking spaces. The ‘Private’ parking spaces belong to our neighbours. All are clearly marked with ‘Gasthof Bären’.
